1. The service
pdf2sign is a free web tool that lets you add signatures and annotations to PDF files directly in your browser. Core signing is free forever and requires no account. Premium is a paid tier that adds saved signatures tied to an account.
2. Acceptable use
- Don't use pdf2sign to forge documents or commit fraud.
- Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service.
- You are responsible for the legality of the documents you sign.
3. Legal validity of electronic signatures
Electronic signatures are legally recognized in many jurisdictions (e.g., the ESIGN Act in the US, eIDAS in the EU) but requirements vary. pdf2sign is a tool, not legal advice. Confirm with a lawyer if your use case requires specific compliance.
4. Premium and refunds
Premium can be purchased as a one-time lifetime payment or a monthly subscription. If you are not satisfied within 14 days of your first purchase, email hello@pdf2sign.app for a full refund.
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the billing period.
5. Warranty disclaimer
pdf2sign is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to keep it working but cannot guarantee uptime, correctness, or suitability for any specific purpose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, pdf2sign and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
7. Account termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
8. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
